Alicia Ruth Parry
Ruth has studied at the Ontario College of Fine Art, the Buckhorn School of Fine Art in the Kawarthas and the Cedar Ridge Creative Centre in Scarborough. Ruth enjoys exploring the Ontario countryside with her sketchbook and paints.
Ruth works in watercolour, acrylic and pen and ink to capture the colour, mood and beauty of nature's changing seasons and wildlife. Ruth also carves in basswood and butternut and is a member of the Ontario Wood Carvers' Association.
Ruth's work is shown at the Cedar Ridge Studio Gallery in Scarborough, the Lemonville Group of Artists in Stouffville and the East Central Ontario Art Association at Algonquin Park. As a past member Ruth also exhibited at shows held by the Schoolhouse Group of Artists, Stouffville and the Art Guild of Scarborough where she received many awards.
